Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern the professional services offered by Beyond Placebo under the Consciousness Entrepreneurship / Level 4 model and related platform-development packages.
By applying for, purchasing, or using these services, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms apply in addition to:
the general Terms and Conditions of the Beyond Placebo website
the Transformational Coaching Terms (where coaching is included)
the Privacy Policy
Where there is a conflict regarding professional services, these Terms of Service take priority for the service relationship.
1. Scope of Services
Beyond Placebo may provide professional support services that include, depending on the package selected:
Website design and digital infrastructure
Sales funnel and landing-page development
Author platform support (book targeting, descriptions, basic cover and SEO guidance)
Course / LMS setup and digital product structure
Store and product setup support
Branding and messaging guidance
On-page SEO setup and related technical guidance
Marketing systems support (email structure, basic campaign frameworks)
Paid advertising setup guidance or management (Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Amazon Ads, or similar, where included)
Video editing or creative support (where included)
Yearly maintenance and growth support (where included)
Complementary access to Level 1–3 Transformational Coaching (where the Complete Package is purchased)
Exact deliverables are defined in the specific package description, proposal, or written agreement provided to you.
Services are professional support services. They are not a guarantee of business results, traffic, sales, ranking, or income.
2. Nature of the Relationship
Beyond Placebo acts as a service provider and mentor/coach support system.
You remain the owner and operator of your business, brand, website, products, and client relationships.
We do not become partners, co-owners, or managers of your business unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Coaching components (when included) remain governed by the separate Transformational Coaching Terms.
3. Eligibility and Client Qualification
These professional services are intended for practitioners who already have substantial transformational experience and are building a responsible, grounded practice.
We reserve the right to decline, pause, or terminate services if:
You show high-stakes emotional or spiritual behaviour that involves risk of harm to yourself or others
You engage in or promote high-risk practices (including, but not limited to, unstructured or unsafe Kundalini work treated as a high-stake risk practice)
You demonstrate a pattern of experimenting with spiritual work in ways that risk yourself or others
You engage in harmful technique practices or tendencies
You share energies or attunements incessantly with others without proper regulation, discipline, and structured modules (treated as irresponsible practice)
You make medical, therapeutic, or guaranteed-outcome claims that create legal or ethical risk
You provide false or incomplete information during intake
If any of the above is discovered after engagement begins, we may disqualify you and stop support and services with immediate effect. Fees already paid for completed work are non-refundable; unused prepaid portions may be handled at our reasonable discretion.
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate information, content, brand assets, and decisions in a timely manner
Own or have proper rights to all content, images, testimonials, and materials you supply
Review deliverables within agreed timeframes and provide clear feedback
Maintain your own legal compliance (business registration, tax, disclaimers, local advertising rules, privacy notices, client agreements)
Use services only for lawful purposes
Not use our work to make medical claims, guarantee results, or misrepresent outcomes
Keep login credentials, advertising accounts, and platform access secure
Accept that business outcomes depend primarily on your offer quality, delivery, consistency, and market conditions
Delays caused by missing information, slow feedback, or scope changes may extend timelines and may incur additional fees if significant.
5. Deliverables, Revisions, and Timelines
Deliverables and approximate timelines are described in the package or written proposal.
Timelines are estimates, not guarantees. They depend on timely client input.
A reasonable number of revision rounds is included as stated in the package. Additional major changes or new scope may be charged separately.
Final acceptance occurs when you approve the deliverable or when a reasonable period for feedback passes without response.
6. Payment Terms
Fees are as stated in the package, proposal, or invoice.
Payment schedules (full payment, deposits, milestones) are as agreed in writing.
Work may be paused if payments are overdue.
All fees are in the currency stated on the invoice.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
Because professional services involve custom work, time, and third-party setup, fees for work already performed are non-refundable.
If you cancel before work begins, a partial refund of unused prepaid fees may be considered at our discretion, less any administrative or planning costs.
If we terminate services due to eligibility violations, harmful practices, or material breach by you, no refund is due for completed or in-progress work.
Complementary coaching included in a Level 4 package follows the refund and termination rules in the Transformational Coaching Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
Your content
You retain ownership of your original text, images, brand name, logos, course content, and client materials that you supply or create.
Our work product
Upon full payment, you receive the custom website design, pages, and materials we create specifically for you, for your own business purposes.
We retain ownership of:
Underlying frameworks, templates, systems, processes, and methodologies
Pre-existing code, design systems, and reusable components
Beyond Placebo branding, educational models, and coaching structures
You may not resell, redistribute, or claim ownership of our frameworks or reusable systems. You may not present our proprietary methods as your original creation.
9. Third-Party Platforms and Tools
Services may involve third-party platforms (website hosts, email tools, payment gateways, advertising platforms, LMS providers, domain registrars, etc.).
You are responsible for creating and maintaining your own accounts where required.
You are responsible for ongoing subscription fees, advertising spend, and compliance with each platform’s terms.
We are not liable for outages, policy changes, account suspensions, or results from third-party platforms.
Advertising results (traffic, leads, sales, ranking) are never guaranteed.
10. No Guarantees of Results
We do not guarantee:
Search engine rankings or traffic volume
Advertising performance or return on ad spend
Number of clients, revenue, or business success
Specific outcomes from coaching, content, or offers
That any platform will remain available or unchanged
Business results depend on many factors outside our control, including your offer, delivery, market, consistency, and external conditions.
11. Disclaimers
Services are educational and professional-support in nature.
They are not legal, financial, medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
You remain solely responsible for the claims you make, the clients you accept, and the practices you offer.
You are responsible for ensuring your website, offers, and marketing comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction (including advertising, consumer protection, and health-claim rules).
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Beyond Placebo and its team shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or business interruption.
Our total liability arising from these services shall not exceed the total fees you paid for the specific service package giving rise to the claim in the twelve months preceding the claim.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship:
By mutual written agreement
For material breach that remains unremedied after reasonable notice
Immediately by Beyond Placebo in cases of eligibility violation, harmful practices, fraud, abuse, or risk to safety or reputation
Upon termination, you remain responsible for fees for work completed. Access to complementary coaching may also end according to the Coaching Terms.
14. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential information received from the other party confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or already public. This does not prevent Beyond Placebo from using anonymised insights to improve systems or from enforcing these Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India, unless otherwise required by mandatory local consumer law.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised date. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for ongoing work.
